Rozen Maiden (ローゼンメイデン, Rōzen Meiden?) is a manga by the group Peach-Pit, with an anime series of the same name.[1] The story centers around Sakurada Jun, a young hikikomori boy that finds himself indebted to a living doll by the name of Shinku. Jun's sometimes comedic, sometimes dramatic, experiences with Shinku--as well as the other six dolls of the Rozen Maiden--slowly bring him out of his depression and back into the world that he had abandoned.

In TV Asahi's "Top 100 Anime Ranking" polled in 2006, Rozen Maiden was ranked 9th on the list.

This anime has some powerful and well done music. This is one of the best. I pity anyone who is driven from an anime based on it's outward appearance, and I pity any moron who thinks only rock music can be cool. I never really liked classical stuff, though I like orchestral soundtracks. But this makes classical style music COOL. This theme in particular reminds me of Soguinetou burning at the end of Season 1. Specifically the English dub. The actress was perfect. That scene nearly made me cry.

Bleh, please don't associate Rozen Maiden with Twilight. -.- Rozen Maiden is a work of art about love and lessons of life, Twilight is about a sparkly vampire and a Mary-sue. Need I say more?
