@mikacissej You can work with one strand of yarn if you prefer.

can i do this this without using two pieces of string?

Can I use 1 string of yarn? Coz I only have a small crochet hook...

Great demo. I wonder however if in the third row, instead of doing 3 sc into one sc, would it make a difference if you do 2 sc into one sc, and then ch1?

I noticed that if i watch the entire video once, then just listen while I implement the steps, it doesn't matter that I'm doing it left-handed, altho I do have a left-y playlist of your videos. Great instruction.. I'm learning a lot here.

@1VeganMom I don't think I have a lefty version of this. Maybe it is time for me to make a new version anyway.

Awesome! Didn't have correct size crochet hook so turned out really tight and small but it was round. I am going to make some Christmas ones as soon as I can get the correct hook.

@CedarValley2011 You can still use the hook you have. You will work more increase stitches and increase rounds.
