Turkish Plans to Protect the Ark

Several plans were actually commissioned. A center that would actually protect the entire Ark structure was in proposal phase. Unfortunately, the plans have since been buried because of many reasons, one of which is the abandonment of plans to excavate the site in the mid-90's because Ron Wyatt was kidnapped. Excavation would have provided the evidence needed to obtain support from investors.

@lizazoon - the Ark has already been in the news. AP announced that the Turks had declared the Ark to be Noah's Ark. Atheist archeologist Ekrem Akurgal said it was the Ark. Popular Mechanics accepted the metal findings but tried to rationalize the boat by saying a localized flood. The metal soundings that I had seen from my very own metal detector - confirmed the find. All you're saying is that my metal detector is a liar.

This is the teaching of amillenial covenant theology which is based on an allegorical interpretation of Scripture as opposed? to a literal one (dispensational theology). This is the dominant teaching in most theological seminaries and has been for decades. As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peaks
