@stevesg92 What an imbecile Joyce Behar is for making that comment. Though I agree with you that "today's generation only enjoys mostly garbage", there will always be people within every generation who recognize and appreciate true talent. This is why opera singers like Pavarotti had huge audiences worldwide. Sinatra and Streisand would be famous for their talent in any generation, especially today's, where there is very little real talent, just as you noted.

Most of the song lyrics now are meaningless, less creative and repetitive chorus though they are fun if you're going to a club.

Today, the real and talented artists are struggling in gaining success, popularity and music sales unlike those auto tuned, can't sing live and dance and manufactured artists who are enjoying much of their success which they don't deserve. But it's great to hear that Adele is selling millions of albums and singles.

The only reason Sinatra or Streisand wouldn't be "popular" is because today's generation only enjoys mostly garbage like Lil Wayne who auto tunes his voice or other "stars" who have no talent (which is obvious because they can't sing live.)
