I wish they had videod the audition

I agree, Eric Carr is the best KISS drummer ever! Love you KISS!

Too bad I'm not concidered as a "real "Kiss fan since I started listen to them during the unmasked era and the song Talk to me got me into 30 years collecting. Of course I like the -75 stuff as well as the newer things they've done... and yes! I think Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are terrific in the band.

@67C30 a lot of people feel that way! but KISS seemed more like they cared about little kids parents money than putting out good music after 1975! this is WHY ACE wanted to leave!

@sjdss The tours in late 1976-1977 was the best KISS ever sounded. The energy, power, and tightness of them live on that tour was never reached before, and never matched again. Love Gun, Destroyer, and Rock n Roll Over produced some of their best music, although I love all of the early stuff. The early albums were raw and powerful (especially Hotter Than Hell), but the renditions of those songs being played live in 1976 - 1977 never sounded better.

@67C30 yeh well if you think great expectations shout it out loud then she kissed me and plaster caster is good?! the real KISS was dec 72- to dec 75 after that it was sold out pop crap KISS lost their balls after 75!
-
@sjdss You are retarded! KISS didn't even peak until 1977. -lol
-
real KISS fans! laughed at unmasked! wow! that sucks! KISS died in january 1976!

Great drummer, decent person as well. Creatures of the Night UK promo signing tour in 1982 in London.......Frehley was drunk, Simmons was smug, Stanley was aloof and Carr was the only decent and honest member of KISS that day.
RIP Little Caeser

This is ERIC playing over the record for the up coming concert that was about to go down. All the guys that tried out for KISS had to do the same thing. They also had to play solos for a few minutes as well.
ERIC CARR was the best drummer KISS ever had.

It's the album version but Eric Carr playing with and over top of it as an audition tape. Fig was on Unmasked but the dominant drums you hear here is Carr.
