@kronikally420 even though the turbo was added on the engine will always be called ka24de if it came stock with the car then it would be ka24det. same as if you have a rb26dett and make it a single it will still be a rb26dett

@valakin To my knowledge. You can't slap a turbo on a KA and keep up with my SR without blowing it up. Aluminum head/iron block don't make for heat distribution.

I hear this all the time. What it comes down to is, would you RATHER build a truck engine that could EVENTUALLY make more power, or buy an engine that is capable of accepting boost and having a good time then. All about efficiency, in my eyes.

@edjean24 I would believe that if they were all base, the S15 would be the fastest, but we are talking the difference between 1.x seconds. The Ka24e ie 89-90 240sx would be the slowest over all. However, I honestly believe that a Ka24de-t would beat an Sr20det in a drag if we were looking at the s14 Sr. But that is just a guess. The Ka produces more tq than an Sr but the Sr can produce more hp. However, that is an issue of math when asking drag questions.

Your comment fails. Even though ImportDPS built this sick ass 240...They love hondas too. I would know, I have been to ImportDPS myself. They do tons of work with hondas.

Also this car is not running "open headers in the front." This car is a 4 cylinder, so it only has one header to begin with. Second of all its turbo charged, and it's using a turbo manifold. The exhaust coming out the fender is coming from the turbo...
