This video is a Youtube upload test to see if they now offer a better video quality then before if you upload an original (uncompressed) DV video file. This video is the compressed version using the Super software and H.264/AVC codec set @ 320 x 240 Size, 4.3 Aspect, 29.97 (for NTSC and use 25 for PAL), 1008 bitrate, Hi quality option and with mp3 audio @ 22050Khz and 96 bitrate. Hopefully we can see a difference in video quality since it took 1 hour and 17 minutes to upload this uncompressed video @ 357mb file size compared to taking 3 minutes of upload time for the compressed video which is amazingly 343mb less in video file size not to mention the saving on upload bandwidth.
at 240p, this one looks better than the uncompressed

Yes, there is a difference! Open both test videos in different tabs and it is easy to see. The more movement the more obvious. Edges are much sharper on the high res.
However, it is up to the individual as to whether it is worth the extra upload time.
