it is dificult for me to really say that I understand Rabbi laitman because this is the first time I have encoutered discussion on the subject - but, I can tell that Rabbi is a well of knowlege : I have came to water or, rather, was led to the water, and now it is up to me to drink. Not so. The ruling class want us to stay in egosim. It's the only way they can control us. If everybody were a kabbalist every body would just think of the best of their fellow citizens and not about themselfes.
