Richard Alpert was Professor at Harvard University; he worked on research projects concerning effects of LSD.
In India he met Guru Neem Karoli Baba, called Maharaj Ji, and became his devotee.
He changed his name to Ram Dass (Servant of God) and converted to Hinduism.

  • Watching this video reminded me that a man from a rural third world country (Maharaj Ji ) knew much more than a brilliant Harvard professor.

  • @Pr4dat0r LSD is one of the safest drugs to take considering its fatal dosage levels, you would need to take tens of thousands of the amount of a normal dose to be fatal.

  • @godno1god He did miracles all the time though, so you'll need another excuse to discredit him.

  • @tragictravisty A documentary called 'Fierce Grace.'

    It's pretty good. Inspiring.

  • what is this from?

  • @godno1god Lol electrons can be both waves and particles, black holes rip apart spacetime, and there may be infinite alternate universes, but you can't accept clairvoyance. The Newtonian worldview has been dead for a hundred years.

  • @theuppro Yes it won't kill you, but it can really roast your mind if you're not careful. It's a powerful drug and must be treated accordingly.

  • a beautiful sharing

  • @CloudshadowMan1

third world country, professor, man...a person is a person no matter what, where, when. Those labels hardly mean a thing. They should barely register.

  • @godno1god It's a great explanation to a materialist. They will accept anything that explains away "supernatural" spiritual phenomena.

  • When Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) has himself accepted the Guru and his blessings, any doubt in anybody's mind is of no value. One has to accept Guru cent percent to have his grace. This is what is reflected by Ram Dass in his various books & talks.

  • Good Food! Thanks Thanks Thanks Gratitude and Blessings

    Namaste
