That is pretty much what they use today, only most HD multi-camera systems use the "blacksuit, reflective dot" method of capture. However, you can now use just a Microsoft XBox 360 Kinect camera with some freely available drivers and softwAre on a computer to do amazingly accurate mocap, although using two or more Microsoft Kinect cameras is recommended, but may be overkill for average joe, non-blockbuster movie production use.

7 minute video and no close-up of the finished results? All the close-ups showed wireframe mode. Please show the filled mode. Come on!

bad at keeping track of comments
If I had it locally the time in my case is not really an issue, hvae spent the day rendering relaxed cone maps so the ability to do this would be worth the wait.
