  • what no vocal, could not believe it. i want clinton/wain maybe hillary (joke) ROGHARM

  • I have the Larry and Bea version posted too but no Hillary on my channel. I had enough of those two in the 90's.

  • Actually Paul Whiteman was hailed as the best band leader of the 1920's and had 28 number 1 hits. Bix Biederbeck was phenomanal also, but passed away at a very young age. Paul has his rightful place in vintage history and he was amazing.

  • Whiteman was an innovator and his sound was always sophisticated and original. He is one the best in my opinion, glad you like him too.

  • Bello, Bello!

    Thanks for posting!!

  • Have you listened to this same song by Larry Clinton? See my other post for it.

  • A nice arrangement for easy listening but the Larry Clinton arrangement is really something to listen to.

    Thanks for this posting,

    Joe

  • ((Sigh))..................

  • A very romantic melody.

  • I agree - great sound for its time. Electronic amplification came out about 1925 or 26. But by the late 30's it was even more improved. Too bad the depression put a damper on sound recording technology. Columbia was experimenting with long-play 33 1/3 in early 30's - but no money was available for developement. We had to wait until after WWII for LP.
