Conflict in Georgia changes Poland's mood

Nearly 18 months of negotiations have come to an end as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrives in Warsaw to sign an anti-missile defence deal. Poland has agreed to a U.S. proposal to host parts of a global anti-missile system despite strong protests from neighbouring Russia. Moscow is against the move and says it will further damage its already delicate relations with Washington.

This strategic military deal with Poland would start a new kind of Cold War between USA and Russia. If Reagan would be alive today, he would feel very disappointed with the results of this new race of mass destruction weapons in the world. The Russia might use the same kind of strategy like the Cuban crisis. The civilized world needs to continue using reason rather than thinking of self-destructive beliefs.
