Utilizing science to create food, Cocoon is a sustainable response to the worlds growing population and its desire to eat meat and fish.

I would venture to guess that the risk of salmonella/food poisoning would disappear with this technology..
So would you even need to cook the food?

Even vegans can't complain about this, if all they need is a few cells from the animals, I doubt that would hurt the animal much and it wouldn't be killing the animal because the meat technically would have never been alive.
