Apple Battery Recall

Unfortunately Dell isn't the only company plagued by exploding defective Sony batteries. This afternoon Apple announced that they will recall 1.8 million lithium-ion notebook batteries after nine devices overheated. Two people have even reportedly suffered minor burns due to these battery malfunctions.

arent those batteries made and supplied to sony, dell, apple etc. by a different company? I know there are some companies that do that, get their parts made elsewhere, and sent to them for assembly in their laptops.

It's not the actual manafacture process, it is the design. The bateries r not designed for those laptops
