I read the title. Then i laughed. I scrolled down to the thumbs...saw that this wasnt a joke. Then i saw that it was Parks Bonifay...thats when i wasnt so surprised anymore.

@iceman9992 its cause when u take off switch, your body naturally wants to return to your regular side, so the rotation is faster, which allows you to spin more

harf was the first to land a switch heel 1080, not regular. brad smeele landed the first regular toeside 1080.

this is a very dumb question but why do people pulloff switch 1080's? to me it seems eiser to try a regular one. i can land regular 3's and id never try a switch one.

Once you're at their level, switch and regular can feel the exact same. it just so happens that when they try the switch 3, they land it. Landing a regular 1080 should seem easier, but only Harf has been able to pull that off.
Try learning switch wakejumps, then try switch 360's. I landed the 3rd one i ever attempted, and now my switch 3s are smoother than my regular ones. It's just how you practice and perform the tricks that makes them easy.
