Funny story. I let my friend play this game today, and he'd never played DMC before. Of course, I let him play on a New Game +, so he had everything. He got to this boss, and he'd watched this walkthrough so he knew what was coming. He was worried he'd die horribly.

He damaged him pretty badly, and stunned him. I told him to use Devil Buster - 2:48 - on him, and Berial only lasted a total of about two minutes.

Granted, it was a New Game + on Human mode, but it was so hilariously quick.
