Children's television just isn't the same since Mr Dressup passed away. It's sad to say that childrens tv doesn't inspire kids to pretend and dressup and use their imaginations like we all did as young children.. and I'm 36.. and iwatched him every morning

Hells yeah. I grew up in Depew, NY (suburb of Buffalo) and I watched Mr. Dressup RELIGOUSLY. (before my nap...) Ernie Coombs was the best guy ever. Mr. Rodgers didn't have shit on Mr. Dressup. Right now, they're doing a joint children's program in Heaven.

I hope he was as good a dad as I would imagine myself to have.(didn't happen), but nice to know someone did!

I'm 46 years old, and still LOVE Mr. Dressup and his "tickle trunk"!! Oh , the magic, I imagined in that stupid prop! I totally loved that tickle trunk!! Great dude, for sure! Casey and Finnigan were ok, but , really, it was all about that crazy trunk, for me... he he...

Dear Chris, I met your sister. I was the guy that interviewed your dad 4 weeks before his passing. Your sister has a copy of my master thesis that was dedicated to his memory, as well as a copy of my interview with him. Your dad was a great man.
