is it just me that thinks this guy comes across as a total douche? "look i can move my fingers really fast, but my mind aint able to move out of the chessy 70/80's melodies" sorry jordan but ive just had enough of this pointless arrogant masturbation. I guess i will just have to inspire myself.....

Boo! When I see the term "old school Moog", I am thinking a vintage Moog, such as the Minimoog. What you have is a Voyager OS. Sounds good, though.
-
@Theshamham cant stand their music?
yah right. this is prob coming from some asshole who has listened to one album
you wouldnt be so fucking benighted musically if you heard octavarium and scenes from a memory. you blasphemous cunt
-
@byoork yeah if they played something like king crimson or yes I would actually listen to them. Their amazing musicians but I can't stand the music they make at all..
-
@byoork Try "SMPTe" by "Transatlantic"
-
Need me a minimoog..
-
This is cool, but I had to get the 1970s version.
-
I hope he'll one day sit down and writes a "synthesizer meets orchestra meets metal meets fucking everything" kind of album. Why? BECAUSE HE FUCKING CAN! As much as he does compose with Dream Theater and his solo albums, I feel there is so much more this man can do, so much more wonderful, original music he can make!
-
Your left hand always rocks Jordan!!!!
-
OLD SCHOOL??
-
DT need to use the moog
-
Haha it's funny you say that because the synthesizer was invented to be just that: a noisemaker. Robert Moog just happened to choose a keyboard to be the controller when he could have picked anything else. I don't want to sound like a dick... but...
-
In the vein of On the run, awesome!
-
sounds a little more like fm
-
oh god, get in an argument by misconstruing my point, my point was that most Voyager old school demo's simply show off those sounds that moog's are great at, and it's nice to see a demo not containing entirely those, because it get's old fast.
-
Awesome. Subtractive synthesis is a beautiful thing.
-
That totally sounded like the intro to Tangerine Dream's 'Phaedra'
-
is just one more in the Jc's collection.. haha he's the best ;)
so thats how you communicate with your home planet!
