  • i want a dog(or puppy) but my mom says no but i will keep asking anywho i want that dog to be abused so when i take it home and love it it can finaly feel loved and worth something and animal abuse is very fucking wrong and i hate it!

  • Foster homes save the puppy mill dogs. They are rescued by auction from a closing of a mill. After transition with a foster family , them they are avail. to adopt for a donation, to cover expenses for treatments, shots and neutering or spaying, from the rescue people.

  • You leave that to animal control. If you buy a dog from a mill and say your 'saving them' your still supporting puppy mills. If you ever do see a puppy mill, call your local human society.

  • only one problem i have

is if we rescue all the shelter ones

who is going to save the puppy mill ones?

the ones in poor condition we just cant leave them there to die?

  • Please adopt don't shop. Shelter pets are the best.

  • animal ark - Hastings, MN is a no -kill shelter thts were i got my puppy on november 2nd 2008 :) shes only 12-13weeks first puppy i ever got!

  • Great Job =)

  • wow, you guys are doing wonderful job! don't be discouraged by negative and careless comments. keep up the good work!

  • Parvo=bad, which is why we came up with this program, to keep the puppies out of the shelter environment where the "P" is spread. it is heartbreaking to lose them to this virus, very few make it.

  • It's not like that. When someone comes to a kill shelter with a litter of pups to be killed, the shelter manager tells them about this program, we'll take the puppies and spay/neuter EVERY unfixed animal in their home. This ensures that there will be no more unwanted animals from this household. We also encourage responsible spay/neuter through low cost clinics, certificate programs etc.
