I actually saw it coming in A Great and Terrible Beauty. The "sapphists" coversation, Felicity licking Ann's cheek, almost kissing Gemma...I was waiting for Libba to out Fee for the longest. I'm suprised more people didn't see it.

I didn't think about it, but it made sense at the end

This video messed with my head when I finally got around to watching Northanger Abbey. I couldn't get the idea of out my head that they were actually Fee and Pip. Very well made, the clips worked great. I was a bit turned off the song at first (very modern) but it actually worked pretty well. Thanks for making it.

Wow, even after that one meeting in the Winterlands, where Pippa grabs the girl and smooches her for all to see, people still didn't catch on? Hm.
Me, I also saw it in the first installment of the trilogy; Felicity outright claims Sapphists to be disgusting and foul, which hints towards her secret, whereas Pippa doesn't seem bothered, indicating that she is possibly one.
Also, it shows in the fact that, no matter how nicely their suitors treated them, or how handsome, they refused them.

well as you see pippa is the prettiest of all of them

I love this video!! I read the description, and I found your interpretation of Felicity and Pippa's relation interesting. I do agree that Pippa was definitely manipulating Felicity, but my interpretation was that a part of Pippa did love Felicity. Honestly, I'd never even thought of the possibility of Pippa being bisexual. I always assumed that she had only been with the knight before because she hadn't yet discovered her sexuality. Of course, I could be wrong :)
i like how youve put this vid together, but i like your disclaimer even more haha great work xx

I like to think that the majority of fans who are attracted to these books are open-minded, intelligent and accepting people but I've come to find out that especially on open forums like Youtube, this is often a place where bigotry strikes. Get a few trolls who happen to stumble upon this video posting inflammatory remarks and the whole thing gets very ugly. And that's just senseless and unnecessary. People's sexuality is their own business. Personal attacks are cowardly and reprehensible.

in the book Felicity had blond hair and Pippa had brown hair.

And you're point is? It's very obvious to anyone paying attention that the blonde girl is supposed to be Felicity and the brunette, Pippa. Therefore, that comment made no sense.

well to me it looks like in your video the brown haired girl looks like Felicity and the blond one looks like Pippa. Anyways you don't have to be mean about it :P

I'm not mean about anything. I was genuinely confused by that statement since no one else ever confused the characters before. The vivacious, provocative and manipulative blonde in the video is supposed to match the blonde in the book. The innocent-looking brunette matches the one the book. I did state this was before TSFT and most people got it. Therefore I figured it was obvious and that you just hadn't paid attention/read my video info.
