@markuscc well you shouldnt base your overall opinion on a genre on the quality of the music of the most well known artists. because there are actually way more underground hiphop artists that produce great music than mainstream shitty rappers. and youre right, unfortunately they are unknown but they are still out there. check out some guys like phonte, elzhi, blu, skyzoo, jay electronica.

@matz107 I know a lot of old school rap, back when it actually meant something. I do not know shit about the ridiculous "hip pop" nonsense that white suburban tweens think is rap. There might be a few real rappers left out there but nobody knows who they are because they are completely obscure. Everybody else nothing but a glorified karaoke singer who would sell their soul in a hartbeat for some bitches and bling.
