I fell in love with Ty. I know his intentions werent bad,but he was selfish. I dont get why Gemma didnt want to give Ty and the place a chance,but he didnt have the right to force her to stay. I couldnt put this book down. I knew the end wouldnt be a really happy one but I just cant help feeling sad about it. I can see this in my head as a film and I really hope they decide to make it into a film. It just seems like it would be a brilliant film if it was made well and had good actors in it.

how can anyone hate Ty? I found it extremely hard to dislike him at all

Like a lot of people, I struggled over how to feel about Ty. I knew I should hate him for what he did and I tried to, all along, but I couldn't help falling for him. The entire time, I tried to convince myself to hate him, but I just couldn't.

It was kind of strange when I was reading this book considering I was reading it at the same time as Dark Life by Kat Falls. Completely different book, with one thing in common: the main characters were named Gemma and Ty. Yeah. Weird.

What Ty did was unforgivable and selfish.Yet, i love him because of his good intentions. He really thought he was saving her, & i came to believe that he DID save Gem. He really loved and cared for her, and he was there for her and tried all he could to protect her. I understand Gem tho. But i still wished she gave him a chance.she actually did, but the snake ended it for them. I love Ty, though. No matter how messed up, Gem was lucky some1 cared for her that much. He chose prison for her

@TheSausyOne I see what you mean about her sense of trust and she probably didn't know what he was capable of. With Ty It was more like I was a little bit in love with him, for that side of him that felt like her loved her and wanted to take her away and keep her safe. I felt quite sorry for him aswell. But you can tell he is just not there mentally. And it wasn't fair on Gemma to not have the choice.almost everyone would act as she did if you got taken away from everything without the choice.

@xNatalie24x she didnt want to give it a chance because she had no choice in being there, she was stolen and isolated from everything and everyone she loved with this unstable guy.i mean he didn't rape her or do what you would expect an abductor to do..but he totally screwed up her sense of trust, of whats right and wrong, of feeling safe. I get how the audience could sympathize with Ty to a degree....but what he did was just terrible and unforgivable.

at the begging of the story some people may say that ty is crazy for kidnapping gemma but actaully he was just lonly. he wanted someone as a friend and for just some company. even though gemma may never see her parents again i just think that she should be grateful because she could of ended up in a even worse situation were someone could of actaully killed her. shes lucky that ty is not doing anything bad to her and is still feeding her, and giving the stuff she needs.

@TheJonasEfronlover Because he stole her away from her life, he may have had good intentions, to take care of her and stuff but how could you fall in love with someone you know little about and stole you away from the life you knew, that's my opinion.
