@bsteadman1 cont'd The children of aliens, born in this state, are considered as natural born subjects, and have the same rights with the rest of the citizens.”
@bsteadman1 James Madison, The Founders’ Constitution Volume 2, Article 1, Section 2, Clause 2, Document 6 (1789)
“It is an established maxim, received by all political writers, that every person owes a natural allegiance to the government of that country in which he is born. Allegiance is defined to be a tie, that binds the subject to the state, and in consequence of his obedience, he is entitled to protection…
@bsteadman1 No, a person born in US doesn't need 2 citizen parents to be NBC, that's birther bs. Even children of illegal immigrants are natural born, You should read the Constititution instead of Post and Efail and WND, Also try JUS SOLI.
@bsteadman1 the Kenyan birth certificate--why would one assume IT was authentic any sooner than one would assume the US certificate was not? Still no proof that his mother was ever in Kenya that I know of. AND if the problem is that he isn't a natural-born citizen, perhaps people should have just calmly said that instead of this other bc stuff. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case and at this point, most people don't want to hear anything else that is said about it.
@Teeninchee -- Attorney Mario Apuzzo’s website, ‘puzo1DOTblogspotDOTcom’ and Attorney Leo Donofrio’s website, ‘naturalborncitizenDOTwordpressDOTcom’ are good sources for additional information. … Barack Obama, was born on Kenyan Soil and he readily admits that only ONE of his parents was an American Citizen at the time of his birth. He definitely is NOT a ‘natural born Citizen’ and hence is unqualified for the office of POTUS to which he was elected.
@Teeninchee -- Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that our President must be a ‘natural born Citizen’, which is a much more stringent requirement than an ordinary ‘American citizen’. A ‘natural born Citizen’ must be born on American Soil, with BOTH parents ‘American Citizens’ at the time of his or her birth. I suggest you search on YouTube, in quotes, for “exactly what is a natural born citizen” and look for the video with that title, which was uploaded by ‘deanhaskins’.
Respond to this video... Doesn't the US Constitution say that children born to US citizens and non citizens were deemed citizens from 1941 onward? If that is the case, it wouldn't matter if he were born in England, France, or Egypt. He would be a citizen. Has anyone produced a passport that says his mother ever went to Kenya?
@bsteadman1 (I wasn't there, so I don't know) but even if he were born in Kenya, his mother was an American citizen...(although I haven't seen documented proof that she ever was in Kenya...) After 1941 children born to an US citizen and a noncitizen were considered US citizens if the parent had lived in the US for 10 years and at least 5 of those years after turning 16. Which would have been the case with his mother. Isn't that what the Constitution says?
