Similar themes to Alien. A small crew isolated from help and stuck with a bad tempered alien mo-fo hiding somewhere. Fantastic film and any remake would have to be helmed by the man himself otherwise what's the point. And the CGi would have to be seamless and undetectable otherwise it would look like the 'ballsup' that was 'The Fog' remake. The bit at 5:02 still makes me jump.
this movie is so great, i loved it for the longest time and i really want there to be a sequal just John Carpenter writing and directing and rob botin on effects. and no CGI!
