  • Orrrrrr.... you can park your chicken tractor over the spot and allow the chickens to scratch and eat away all the plant material... annnd they start you off with great fertilizer via their droppings... fabulous nitrogen.... (">

  • Orrrrr, just lay down a 4' x 8' sheet of OSB in the fall... everything dies beneath it, the worms clean up and in spring you lift the OSB and you have perfect dirt to plant in... and it doesn't blow away annnd can be used over and over again... five minutes and you're done. (">

  • @9aspengold5 Hay has seeds and will sprout things like wheat, straw is supposed to be seedless.

  • I was told wheat straw will actually sprout wheat. So what type of straw would be

  • This is a great idea! This would be perfect for claiming part of a lawn for a garden space. Very little work involved! I am wanting to turn half of my backyard into a big garden. I'm going to use this method. thanks for sharing!
