From their incredible Reunion Concert Live! recorded at the historic Bijou Theatre Centre in Knoxville, TN, Nov 9,2001, almost two months to the day after the tragic events of 9/11. This 2 1/2 hour concert was recorded for both CD and DVD. This great song, Chilly Winds, was written by the late great John Stewart of The Kingston Trio and John Phillips of Mamas & Papas fame, and the Trio sang it as a tribute to both Johns, who were their friends in the folk era of the '60's. The Cumberland trio's great websites are located at www.cumberlandtrio.com and www.myspace.com/thecumberlandtrio . There are 22 live concert videos of the Trio now up on You Tube. Just type cumberlandtrio in the You Tube search box. From left to right are Tom Kilpatrick on 2nd lead guitar, Jerre Haskew on rhythm guitar and Andy Garverick on 1st lead guitar. The dobro player is the great Lou Wamp, one of the 3 best in the world. You can buy all the Trio's CD's & DVD's at www.cdbaby.com, type cumberland trio in the search box. The Trio's great harmonies are unrivaled in folk music!! Just listen and ENJOY!!

  • Wayne, this is Tom a huge fan and friend of The Cumberland Trio. I uploaded all these concert vids and will pass along your special compliment. This song is so very special to the Trio. They literally revered Stewart & Phillips, who were mentors to them in the folk era of the '60's and did not have to be. Phillips was their closest friend and confidante. You have put up some great concert videos yourself. It's a realpleasure to be associated with you here on YT!

    Play In Tune On Time,

    Tom
