Troops advancing towards Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi Troops of the 59th Division are advancing towards the LTTE Mullaitivu bastion. Sources emanating from the battlefront said the troops are also nearing the Kilinochchi town from three fronts.. The soldiers are advancing despite these obstructions. The 59th Division is advancing from Komalamunai and moving towards Mullaitivu. The troops recovered four T56 weapons and communication equipment yesterday after attacks. Five bodies believed to be that of sea tigers were recovered.
