rotoscope animation from a class. each frame was traced in photoshop using a wacom tablet. the original video was a replay from skate 1 (the video game).

Well, the way I did it isn't the most efficient way. I imported a video file into photoshop and converted the video frames to layers. Then made a new layer on top of each video frame layer and traced and outline using a wacom tablet.

A better way in photoshop is to convert the video file to a video layer and trace it that way. You can also use after effects for rotoscoping. I suggest checking out that google website for more specific information.

I probably spent about 6 to 8 hours on this. Rotoscoping takes time, even for short and simple animations.
