OMG! This sounds NOTHING like her. I didn't even know she could sing like this. I mean I know she's ridiculously talented but this is craaazy!!!!!! She sounds like she's singing opera!

@bmh4d0k3n umm this is not belt. I agree it annoys me when people call this opera because like you said it's no where near. But she is using a combination of head voice and mix here, it's not belting.

Holy crap. I have never heard this part of Idina's voice! I'd only ever heard her as a beltress. I've never heard her mix like this. I wish she wasn't labelled as a beltress so early in her career. I'd love for her to sing like this more nowadays

@dancejessicasing she sort of ruined it doing all her belting shit,she had to smoke for rent and everyone sort of started to know her as this powerhouse belter so she ditched it

Why does everyone think this is classical singing? Not even close. She's belting nearly the whole way through, though it does sound like a mixed belt sometimes.

Thank goodness she found her own voice later on -this is technically fine but so boring and generic. What makes Idina Idina isn't there at all. And it's not just about belting or not belting. This sounds like it could be anyone. And when Idina sings now, she sounds like no one else!
