The shorter guns are great for shalow water diving,bad viz, and in caves .but lack range and power in open clean water.I now use a twin rubber 1400 gun.When going into a cave i only load one rubber othervise both rubbers are loaded and ready for anything with plenty of range and power for most fish.

Cool. Love the Pneumatics.Dolllies r mad 2 hunt. Problem with Perth is that we have to travel 50kms out to c to a FAD so we can catch them and they only hang around Jan. till March. Anyway cheers for watching.

Cheers.True that on the air guns. They are a lot of fun and easy to use but lack in range.

@zomazno1 i completely disagree about the lack of range in airguns, i have an seacsub caccia 135 and it has more range than a 140 RA with twin bands. So i guess it just depends on the type and length

True that.I only used a 90 and a 110 gun.I guess a 135 would have more range than a 110 but must be a nightmare to load. Any way each to their own. I had fun with my air guns but had enough of probs with leaks,not beeing able to use bent shafts and many other probs.
