First test run of the ATV homemade snowblower / snow thrower on a Feb 2009 snow storm.
The driveway is about 900 feet long 4 car wide at the top. The 11 hp Honda never even bogged down. Need about 1-2 feet or snow for a real test... C'ya in 2010

  • Nice job , You might want to gear up your blower ,It will throw it out way better ,Thats how honda's bercomacs throw so far ,They have the blower pully geared to the moon.

    Good luck.

  • nice work how did you do the belt tension-er?Did you ever put a pto clutch on it?

  • Alright! I'm off to the lawnmower junkyard to get some stuff-and I'm gonna put my 4 wheeler to work and let the wife use the Ariens snoblower!

  • @drewme1010 Come here to syracuse, we'll have plenty for ya!

  • am in the process of building on right now am thinking about using a 14.5 Ft-lb briggs and straton engine on a 2 stage 40" snowblower. was just wonder how wide you snowblower is? And do you think that engine would be enough it is about 10hp

  • thats a nice set up how did you mount it on your 4 wheeler??

  • Man-toy of the year candidate! Great job on the DIY project.
