Update: I had to cut this video short because the staff caught me filming with one hand and driving with the other, and told me I would be kicked out if I did it again.

Audi's program to have drivers experience the new 2009 Audi A4 Sedan quattro.

I participated in the Two-Hour Introductory Program, and this program has you drive on two courses.

One is an autocross course where you test drive several other similar-class vehicles to the Audi A4 Sedan quattro. The other cars were all all-wheel drive models with similar specs:
BMW 328xi
Lexus IS250 AWD
Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC

On the other course, they teach you the basics of braking and hitting the apexes following the out-in-out form.

  • It's not an S4...it's an A4.

  • You're absolutely right! I mistakenly put S4 in the video too. My apologies. I'm correcting in the description.

  • how do u like those cars?

  • After test driving the cars in the autocross course, they asked us our opinions about the cars. It was unanimous that the Mercedes-Benz C300 was the worst.

The best praises went to the Audi S4 quattro and the BMW 328xi. Both equally balanced sportiness, performance, and luxuriousness.

I personally liked the S4's drive feeling and interior more over the 328xi.

  • The new B8 chassis A4 handles much more neutrally/comfortably than old Audi's and most AWD sedans. Overall - the "rear-drive" (not the xi) BMW is still the sportiest - but in my personal experience - the A4 is the best "all around" vehicle of the bunch.

  • Why do you think Mercedes C300 was the worst? Is it because of the traction control that can't be turned off?

  • I agree the Mercedes was the worst, and the Audi was great. I really liked the Lexus though. Since I typically don't take 90deg turns at 50mph and get yelled at by the traction control.

I thought the BMW interior looked like an 88 honda accord.
