@dmometalguitar A little off topic, but Bernie built some great flamenco guitars in the early 70s. He built one originally for Sabicas, but Sabicas bought the others and I ended up buying that awesome 1971 flamenco which I still have. It's loud as hell without electricity or amps!!!

-
The guitar player for Danzig used this. Nice axe
-
@metallica10028 he used the 10 string one without the extra stings, he also painted it black later on
-
Fucking nice looking guitar! BTW how did you get the guitar?
-
@metallica10028 he used it up till 1987 even after peace sells, then he switched to jackson after chris and gar got fired :o
-
@metallica10028 his was not the BC Rich 6 his was a BC Rich Bich 10 Supreme all the same knobs, same body, but with 10 strings and no tremolo. But i LOVE MUSTAINE
Question: the Bich you are playing has a borderline ridiculous amount of knobs; do the different configurations actually make drastic changes to the tonal characteristics of the guitar, or is it more or less for minor tweaks?
Great vids, btw!

@Rebirth1349 Yes, the guitar can have drastic sound changes, particularly if you play in clean mode. The coil split switches and the varitone knob create some really nice sounds for clean chords. For distortion, I prefer the default configuration (without the coil split/varitone), which gives me a real heavy metal sound. If I mess with the controls with distortion, I get that grunge-like distortion that I'm not into too much.

werent BC Rich guitars the first non traditional shape guitars? a friend told me ibanez were.

@dylankrolick Good question. The main thing, in my opinion, is not too much who was first, but the guitar shape itself. BCR introduced an amazing collection of pretty insane shapes - Bich, Warlock, Mockingbird, Stealth, Ironbird, etc.
