Play Time with Mico

Play time with a baby pygmy marmoset named Mico. Mico was hand reared at the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation, www.rarespecies.org, because his mother died giving birth to him. He is now grown up and housed in a large, outdoor enclosure with a female marmoset named Trixie. He is not a pet, and is part of a cpative breeding program for pygmy marmosets, which are threatened in the wild.

Why wouldnt you want one?! One of my life goals to go and hold one somewhere!! I think having one as a pet would be ok through like a rescue place, but not from a south american pet store or whatever...AGH!! i WANT ONE SOOOOO BAD!!!!!

@isaream837 Yeah, they are cute as hell, but they're primates. Holding them as pets would most likely make them depressed.

You could get a dwarf hamster instead. One of my friends daughters has one, and they're cute too.
