  • good tips! how many reps would you recommend for the dynamic effort reps? cause if you lowered the weight so you could get that speed, you wouldnt want the reps to be too high right? then youd be at the point where it wouldnt be as much strength but more bobybuilding

  • @JSG949 typically for dynamic efforts, you hit 3 reps. Hope this helps.

  • Good stuff, as always, Smitty! I've been watching all your videos lately about increasing the bench press and I'm learning a lot. RIght now I weigh 175# and usually keep my bench around 300#, without focusing on it a whole lot. My training typically consists of working on increasing my GPP and not focusing on any specific lifts. However, starting in February, I want to work on increasing my bench to 350# (2x BW). I feel all this info you are giving will definitely help me out. Thanks! - JC

  • @TheRugclay20 Nice brother, keep training

  • Do you hold your breath on the dynamic effort part?

  • @PIEFROMVA yes, I would recommend it if you can

  • great vid, for the dynamic effort reps how many reps per set would you recomend? because if you lowered the weight and you started doing more reps it would get to a point where you'd be doing bodybuilding and not strength training. and obviously the strenght is what im looking for

  • Strong cut
