The people in charge of these shows keep moaning about how they can't afford to put on the kinds of shows they used to, but it doesn't cost any money to build on the characters' histories. It makes the storylines so much more believable. For example, Lily's reaction to her mother's actions is perfectly understandable, given the history she has with Lucinda.
Yep, nothing is better than characters behaving in character. I loved it when Margo blocked Dusty's attempt to imply Craig would have Johnny end up like Bryant.
Wow! Margo actually remembered her biological father!
It's nice to see Luke getting a backbone.
