Heavy Snow , River Road, Wildlife & Drive Home [Salmon River Trip]

This is video of my second steelhead fishing trip that took place on the North Fork Salmon River. We drove from Rigby,ID to Salmon,ID on Thursday Nov,12,2009. We encountered heavy snow with low visibilities and snow packed roads. About 10 miles South of Salmon,ID the weather cleared up and in little time we were on the Salmon River road looking for a spot to fish. Fishing was pretty slow. We did see people catching fish but the fish seemed to ignore what we offered. I never recorded from the Edge of the river or actual fishing. This video is mostly the drive there, then a quick glimpse of the river road, then wildlife we saw and then a quick glimpse of the ride home. It was a very fun and relaxing trip. The highs during the day were in the 30's and then the evenings were in the teens. It snowed today Nov,14,2009 during the ride home but little after we arrived at our home the snow ended. @ OZ ,The lack of fishing video was due to me being lazy and also not having a tripod. Every year I go I always come home and realize that I didnt record any fishing videos, lol.

I think that driving through beautiful scenery like that makes any trip worth it.
