This video shows how to fix the Windows 7, if it can't open .EXE files. I hope it will help for you Youtubers! ;)

Tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/172104-your-internet-settings-prevented-....

The video of error: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21MR5XZMp5k&feature=related.

If something doesn't work, you can try System Restore: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. It restores your Windows to the date, you set. (Updating something can cause errors to your Windows or other programs. After the restore, updates of video drivers, Windows, can go back to earlier version, how it was in that date.)

  • @joerocketRR lol Pulp Fiction freakin hilarious ^-^

  • Okay well my problem isnt as critical as most of the other people here, but it is still an annoying, i can open .exe files( for the most). But my laptop clock is a hour behind and when i try to change it i get the message " These files cannot be opened". I also run into this problem when i try to update my flash player, although when i try to install programs they work without interruption from that message so i am confused on what to do. I seen this solution many times. Should i give it a go?

  • This is the dumbest fix ever.

You know its a stupid fix when it starts by asking you to open regedit.exe...

    WHATS THAT?

    One more time!!

    regedit DOT E X E

  • You can still open exe files by running them! I'm also trying to fix this problem!
