Driving in Russia

Paul and I drive through Russia on the 2008 Mongol Rally. Who would have thought driving in Russia could be more boring than Wisonsin?

Mate I'll assume you've never driven in Russia. We got pulled over 6 times and almost always had to bribe the cops with cigarettes or money!

@buffster85 If you had to bribe the cops there was probly something wrong either with your papers or with your driving. Next time - follow the law :)

@officereagle Europe is really densely populated but not really in Russia. In europe there are cities with around 1 million people every, say, 20 miles. That's a lot.

it does look surprisingly a lot like a lot places in America! I would have thought driving through Russia (or at least European Russia which is where I assume you are) would be like driving through a bunch of suburbs because it is supposed to be immensely crowded.
