My way of thinking is the 2 amendment is a test to see if the government and the cops are up holding the constitution or not.
If a person walks around in front of a cop open carrying and the cops does nothing in right to carry state. It tell me he (cops) is trying to up hold the constitution.

Along with the mayor and city council is watching what the cops are doing. If the cop does harass the citizen then it tell me the whole city council need to be replaced for failing to supervise the cops.
My thinking would be to make copy and send it to the state attorney general and file a compliant with that office and ask the ranking officer be charge with malfeasance of office.

criminals will still carry guns no matter what. The franklin high athlete was shot by a criminal who did not have a permit to carry a gun. The fucking mayor is just seeking publicity and thinking politics, not for the safety of burien citezens

So someone being shot because they weren't armed and able to defend themselves is the reasoning behind not allowing people to arm and defend themselves? What a bizzaro world it must be.

Glad to see they got the preemption in there. ALSO interesting that Mayor 5 pennies has changed his tune, this is no longer based on the "Folk Life Shooting" it's now based on the Garfield Shooting.
