Gordon Brown called one of his voters a bigoted woman and he has paid a heavy price for that now.
Sometimes we just have to shut up! Politicians like Gordon Brown remind us of these facts when they make these mistakes, better to learn from someone elses mistake than your own
Britains economy is not yet recovered and the pound has fallen about 5% against the dollar this year as the opinion polls point increasingly to a political stalemate.
It won't be as bad as Greece but it will definitely hurt the dollar if England goes back to the way it was in 1974! I wasn't even alive then!
Investors are concerned that a hung parliament will make the government too weak to fix Britains record budget deficit. Too many cooks with different recipes often spoil the broth! It's the same with companies when they have management issued investors get nervous, and this makes it harder to gain market share and that makes it harder to manage the company, it's a vicious cycle that can only be broken by confidence, the people have to be confident that a company or a country are being managed efficiently then they give it their full support.
Business leaders are throwing their support behind David Cameron saying that a coalition between Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg will be totally disastrous for companies not to mention the economy! I have nothing against either of them but a hung parliament can bring out the worst in the best politicians.
It is very difficult for politicians like Gordon Brown to keep their cool and say the right things, they are under a lot of pressure and suffer grave consequences when they say the wrong thing.
We can learn from Gordon Brown and take this lesson into our own lives, we may not be Gordon Brown or David Cameron but we still have a lot to gain by keeping quiet!
The times newspaper is endorsing the conservatives for the first time since 1992 they blame Gordon Brown saying that he has squandered the boom and put the economic recovery in peril.
A lot remains to be seen it is a challenging political situation that we cannot predict the outcome of at this time. Tony Blair must be appalled!
