  • Does she need a dongle plugged in to operate?

  • good choice man.. id leave my girl in a heart beat for some fancy gear.. I use Logic Pro, luckily she supports my love of music and recording.

  • i'm good, 44danoc, to give some credit to flakes, i do own protools and cubase and i must say that cubase has some really cool features for midi/remixing style work. i haven't used logic but looking at screen shots looks pretty cool. i use cubase alot for the remixing and midi side of things, but for the final mix/editing nothing's like protools, and elastic time.

  • Daz how are you?I Have dived into elastic time,it's off the hook! When I was at the AES in NY, everyone was standing by PT, hardly no people at Logic, or Cubase etc. I WONDER WHY! lol I met the bald guy that do all the videos for Protools, that guy is so nice on the equipment, Digi picked the best dude to market and showcase their stuff.

  • LOL yeah when you talk about Protools I will protect the honor of it lol

  • didn't i tell ya.. the flame war is on!

    ;-)

  • Logic learning curve is ridiculous, PT is so intuitive and it even looks hot. From the key commands to the color scheme, etc.7.4 is off THE HOOK!Elastic time with it is crazy, all those house,Rave, Trance guys would love it's ease of use. You don't have to be certified to use the interface or program, it's just an extra notch to further your career dealing with PT. I have the hottest plugins from Digi, just what I need to get the job done!

  • At the end of the day with the Major studios, everyone drops their music into where? PROTOOLS!Why would I buy Logic when I can do everything in PT, in my Le system take the session file on a disc drop it right in to the HD system and BAMMMM! 80% Of the hit records you hear on the radio is done in PT! Thats a fact, not an opinion!
