Album-in my own time
Karen J. Dalton (born Karen J. Cariker July 19, 1938 March 19, 1993) was an American folk blues singer and banjo player associated with the early 1960s Greenwich Village folk music scene, particularly with Fred Neil and the Holy Modal Rounders as well as Bob Dylan.
This is a Dream Album the best best of the Woodstock session men when Albert Grossman was at his most influential playin music for the music..Richard Bell Keys, Amos Garrett guitar almost everybody...

I liked Dylan electric and I like KD here and always...I simply was expressing a general peference for THIS artist nother e.g. Don't like CSN&Y but Neil alone or with Crazy Horse is genius. No big fights here with you folks from me tho.

It doesn't lessen her brilliance. Katie Cruel is as sparse and hellbent as anything she ever recorded.

jblacktree, I beg to differ. have you ever heard the whole album? terrific band backing her. amos
garrett on guitar, bill keith on pedal steel. she is wonderful solo, but this is my favorite kd album.

Some people had a hissy when Dylan went electric. Just let an artist and express him or her self and be greatful we as an audience have the chance to come along for the ride.

I think--Way overproduced--she was best alone in a room with her guitar. All this glitz is like Glen Campbell or something.
