I like how this is supposed to be a fun gum commercial and people have to bring race into it. Geez, people, get a life!

You'll notice the first "shuffler" was the man who played Mr. Whipple, "Please don't squeeze the Charmin", Dick Wilson. We lost him a year or so ago.

A guy who was a good friend and I in high school like to do the Teaberry shuffle when we passed each other in the hall. Way back in the late 1960's. Memories!

We'd do the Teaberry Shuffle on the way to school. And the Monkee walk. Thanks!

Thanks for the memories. I totally forgot about this tv spot. It made me laugh so hard. Shared with a friend and she reacted the same way.

Not only do I recall this but I saw the various ads so many times that I learned and perfected the step. I'll have to re-watch this a few dozen times to see if I can recover the moves.

So many things lost from childhood that I'd love to have back.

And I'm not anywhere near old yet.
