I finally learned how to Import and Vectorize graphics. Being an illustrator and designer by trade, this really helps me out by leaps and bounds, considering I've been finding it a bit frustrating drawing with vector lines. It's just not the technique I feel comfortable with. So. I drew up a demon head with my tablet in Photoshop CS3. I then drew the body separate. I put them on the same layer , keeping them separate but using the transparency as a tool (deleting the "background" layer). I imported the .PSD file into Toon Boom and immediately placed the elements on their own layer I guess you call it? Next I told my guitarist (I sing in a metal band) to stand still and play the guitar bit by bit as I took pictures with my digital camera. I lassoed the arms and guitar out in each picture, then put a threshold adjustment layer above the few edited photos. I organized them all with the transparency and imported them to Toon Boom. Made minor adjustments and did the animation thing, made the background layer. Export. I probably forgot to mention a few things but if you can tell me better PLEASE do.
