Plot Summary: Draco and Ginny are in the library, when Ginny spots Draco writing in his diary. On a whim she decides to pinch the book from him just to see his reaction.

Ginny: Let's have a look then...
Draco: No!
Ginny: (snatching the book) That's what it says right here, this book is the property of Draco Malfoy.
Draco: (stares at her with contempt and storms off.)

Later on he sees her, she still has his diary. Secretly, he's kind of impressed by her cheek. And begins to notice how pretty she looks. But then in the Great Hall, he sees Harry and Ginny flirting (her feeding him a mince pie LOL) and he runs away.

Later that day she catches him in the Room of Requirement, he backs away from her (afraid that she's read his diary and will tell everyone his secrets) but instead she kisses him. He's surprised, but when she offers him her hand he can't refuse.

Throughout the next couple of days he can't stop thinking about Ginny and how Harry and Ginny's flirtation is "getting in the way" of him and Ginny. He attacks Harry telling him to stay away from Ginny.

Meanwhile, Ginny has read the diary and finds her name on it. She now knows everything about Draco's mission (those who've seen/read HBP will understand) but it only makes her feel even more sorry for Draco.

Draco is gradually becoming more and more obsessed with Ginny. He realises he really needs that diary back. Ginny finds him crying in the bathroom (for a second Draco imagines that she's Harry) Ginny gives Draco the diary back.

Draco remembers the time when the burrow was burning down and Bellatrix and some other death eaters dragged him there to make him watch. He remembers feeling relieved that Ginny and Harry survived.

About a week later Harry finds Draco in the bathroom and attacks him. Draco drops the diary and Harry picks it off of the floor of the bathroom.

Harry reads the Diary and realises that Draco and Ginny are in love, (or at least that Draco likes her) He burns the diary in his frustration.

Harry acts as if nothings wrong he "looks the other way" when he sees Draco and Ginny flirting. He really does like Ginny, and he continues to want to be a part of her life.

Harry finds Draco and tells him he's read the Diary. Draco is furious as he remembers everyone of his darkest secrets that he wrote in that book. They fight, but neither gets hurt.

The ending is kind of open... what do you think happened? Did Ginny end up with Harry or Draco? I'm inclined to think that this could have been in canon so she did end up with Harry in the end, because she loved him and thought of Draco as a strange kind of friend. (it's kind of like the whole Snape/Lily/James thing) But I dunno. Make up your own mind:D
