A very snowy winter (snowbanks over 8 feet tall) means I can't keep my camper trailer in our driveway anymore! So on March 18, 2008, I pull it out of its "snow cave" and hope I don't get stuck. It's a Fleetwood Evolution E2 - great for off-road camping.

We live just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Our house is at an elevation of 10,700 feet above sea level. Our neighbor measures the snowfall and says the total from Sept 2007 to June 2008 was 32 feet! That's 384 inches!

It's a great place to have a ski resort! Speaking of that, we are Realtors with RE/MAX Properties of the Summit in Breckenridge - if you'd like to own a snowy little piece of heaven, please contact us!

  • What a awesome snow storm. How close to Denver is this ? could all that snow crush your trailer? I love snow . the only thing is :( I live in So. Cal. and I have to drive 45minutes to an hour to get to the snow. thanks for sharing your snow day. I will look at it next summer on some of those hot days. ******:)******

  • @kowz4u We are around 90 miles east of Denver. Nope, the snow wouldn't crush the trailer - all the houses in the area get the same amount of snow, and none of us shovel off our roofs. Check out some of my other videos too!

  • I am looking at this type of trailer. how well do they do with tong weight with and without an ATV loaded?

  • @kary1982v6 No idea about ATV, as I don't have one and haven't loaded one on it. I do know that the front deck "railing" converts to the ramp that you use to drive the ATV up onto the deck.

  • I miss Colorado so much.

  • Sorry to hear that - but check our other videos on Colorado, with more coming from time to time! Look under the heading "More from RogerMoenBreckCO", to the right of the video window on YouTube. Maybe it will help!

  • Wow that's pretty harsh weather! I've been to Switzerland and it never snowed that high! Worst snowstorm I've been in was in Zurich in around 2004 and it was snowing so hard that visibility was no more than 100-150 feet!

  • that is some harsh winter !!!

  • I am moving back asap after college. Will check the other videos out too.

  • Yes, it's a wonderful place to live! Fantastic skiing in the winter, so beautiful in the summer.
