@RandomVloging those shows dont show you what happens behind the scenes.. loosing 10 kiloes in a week is not good for you and i wouldnt be suprise if they are giving them something on the side to loose all of it.. sprinting, crawling around in mud and 25 k runs.. are not safe and effective ways for a guy/girl who has been a coach potato all his life to loose weight.

Graham can you put a montage of your pictures together to show the overall effects of true hard work and blood sweat and tears.... also could you maybe do a short video of your times at the gym... would be cool to see that.

im really happy you've decided to get healthy mate! Furthermore, your trainer is 100% correct; building muscle is the best plan for you. Also, i would suggest to keep weight in perspective as muscle weighs much more than fat. Since your very well built, you have potential to convert all of your weight into muscle. Imagine you didnt lose a single kilo but became all muscle instead? Like arnie for example. That wouldn't be bad at all in my opinion. So keep your options open i would say.

DONT do it fast! take it stead and aim for a 4 year plan! if you do it quick like them stupid tv shows you are puting your health at risk!
