@ChenGalaxy01 If you're on a Mac, go to edit>clear instead of pressing delete on your keyboard.
If you're not on a Mac then make sure you've made a selection. the line you've made with the lasso tool must be moving. Like a sort of moving dotted line.

do you know how to move what you select with the lasso tool? because in my drawing the legs of my character are to long and i want to shorten them without erasing it.

@7cloudvsleon8 First make the cut out. Make sure it's on its own layer, then select around the legs with the rectangle select tool. Then use the scale tool.
