In 1879, the Zulus and the British fought a number of battles, 2 of which became famous with British Military history - Isandlwana & Rorke's Drift.

  • @markrjg sorry, that`s wrong. At Ulundi the firepower from the square broke the Zulus. Then the lancers cut down the survivors in flight It was a massacre that every Englishman should be ashamed of.

  • I think that you will find that at the battle at Ulandi where the British finaly beat the Zulus.when the cavalry charged the Zulus near the end of the battle they ran away

  • One thing that I always notice is that the only native allies that the British had that day who DIDN'T flee were a group of Zulu's who were enemies to those attacking. Tells you a lot about the tribe.

  • the zulu are far more lion hearted than anyone else , the GUNS against the GUTS , put it the other way around u'd find millions of them white run like a rabbit
